Mungo Melvin speaking at the HAC, Monday 30 January 2017I was very privileged to give a talk to a packed hall at the Honourable Artillery Company’s Historical Society on Monday, 30 January 2017. My subject was Sevastopol’s Wars: Crimea from Potemkin to Putin, the title of my new book due to be published on 20 April. About 140 people were present. After my presentation,  the short but lively question and answer session indicated the level of interest in understanding the background to the events of 2014 in Crimea and Sevastopol.
