By Gerald Napier, with additional chapters by Tom Jackson and a foreword by Major General Mungo Melvin CB OBE.

Originally published in 2005, this book has been one of the most popular books ever published by the Institution of Royal Engineers. This major work is a collection of the Treasures and Artefacts held by the Corps, Headquarter Officers Mess, Museum and Library. Although not a production of Corps History, the book has been superbly authored by Gerald Napier who brings the whole collection to life with a thread of history running through the work. There are over 300 images, and many are published for the first time.

The second edition includes an additional two new chapters bringing the story right up to date with Operation Trenton 2020.
